General Health Status: Includes animals that are dead, moribund (dying), or showing signs of diseases that would necessitate carcass condemnation during postmortem inspection.
Neurological Indicators: All animals showing clinical signs of Central Nervous System (CNS) disease are condemned.
Nonambulatory Disabled Animals: In the United States, any cattle unable to rise and walk are automatically condemned.
Severe Fever Thresholds:
◦ Swine: Body temperature of 41°C (106°F) or higher.
◦ Cattle, Sheep, and Goats: Body temperature of 40.5°C (105°F) or higher.
